Cabernet Franc - Carmenere
Over 20 years old, the vineyards for this great wine were planted on our San Rafael estate in the Maule Valley. This property is characterized by its volcanic soils, which produce a reduction in the vine's vigor, increasing the natural concentration of its fruit. With a Mediterranean climate, this area is characterized by a dry summer with a high temperature oscillation between day and night, helping to obtain fruit with ideal ripeness, fresh acidity and good color.
Winemaking
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at temperatures of 25°C to 28°C and extraction levels according to our winemaker's daily tasting. After this process, malolactic fermentation takes place in new and used French and American stainless steel tanks (20% wine) and barrels (80% wine) for 8 months. Prior to bottling, these wines are blended to achieve the characteristic balance between fruit and oak.
