Carmenere - Merlot
The vineyards are located in our San Rafael estate in the Maule Valley. The vineyards selected for this wine are located on soils of volcanic origin, with calcareous veins, clay soils of colluvial origin, and sandy loam soils of alluvial origin, forming slopes with different sun exposures, each providing the characteristics that make this wine unique. The climate of the area is Mediterranean in character with four distinct seasons and the influence of evening breezes from the mountains.
Winemaking
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with temperatures from 25°C to 28°C and extraction levels according to the lot, being tasted daily. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aging in a percentage of new and used French and American barrels for a variable period according to the lot and type of wood input required, plus a percentage in steel tanks to achieve a balance between fruit and touches of wood.

Black and red fruits, spices, hints of coffee, tobacco and vanilla.
